We had high hopes, aspirations and expectations for the start of the summer term and it is safe to say that they have all been far exceeded. The children have returned full of enthusiasm, energy and fun and have embraced the tremendous opportunities available. It struck me yesterday afternoon, as I accompanied the children to play Polo as an after-school activity at Cowdray Park, what an amazing experience they do have and that the skills learnt and memories made at Windlesham will certainly last a lifetime! The fantastic weather has definitely helped and it has been brilliant to see the whole school come alive and our facilities used to the full.
The children are appreciating the changes and improvements which were made over the holidays and I have been so impressed with the pride they take in their school. Our school code of conduct is built around Respect and I am pleased to see this much in evidence through outstanding acts of kindness and awareness of the school community and environment.
We have a busy and enjoyable weekend planned for those children remaining at school and the sun promises to continue to shine…
I hope you enjoy this week's newsletter which covers the last two days in photos.
