Hot on the heels of a fantastic coffee morning last week, the Friends of Windlesham put on a truly royal coronation tea party. There were hundreds of scones baked by wonderful Windlesham House parents, sparkling elderflower and a magnificent trifle. The sun shone (for most of it!) and we all got thoroughly into the coronation spirit.
The Friends also made and handed out beautiful commemorative bookmarks and packets of wild flower seeds.
Thank you to all the committee, helpers and everyone who came and made the event so special. Some families came from as far as London for tea, showing the wonderful community spirit at Windlesham House.
